Before you book and over pay for Maine bear hunting, take a few minutes to check us out. We cannot guarantee that you will take home a bear, but we can guarantee you will be put on active bait, eat delicious home cooked food, and stay in a comfortable cabin. Bear hunting in Northern Maine is a tradition that goes back tot he beginning of time. The best place to find Maine' wild game is in the North Maine Woods.
We provide transportation to and from an active bait site, we skin your bear and will freeze the meat for you.
We have hound hunts with top notch dogs. I have bred and trained my dogs and they do an awesome job. It is quite a thrill listening to the music of the dogs running and treeing a bear.
All our cabins have gas stoves, refrigerators, heaters, and fire pits to enjoy at the end of the day. There is a shower house with three stalls that you can use at your convenience.
We serve all home cooked meals, including deserts, family style, all you can eat, with absolutely NO pre-cooked food. You will never walk away hungry!!
We are located on a fly fishing only lake with native brook trout. If you get your bear early we provide you with a boat and motor at no extra charge, so you can fish the rest of the week or just sit back and enjoy the scenery of the mountains of Baxter State Park, which is located 2/10 of a mile from camp.
